My first three songs =)

For those of you who were lucky enough to see the cuter little guitar playing widget that once graced my sidebar...sorry. He's gone, and is now replaced with a functioning playlist of my current three songs. For future reference, I will refrain from suggesting anything I have not verified beforehand. See, everyday is an opportunity to learn and get frustrated with "advanced technology".

Anyway, the songs are completely acoustic, but gives you the gist of what God's been developing in me.

Just wait til I get my guitar riffs going. Ka-razy.

In other news: Music Widget =)

Hey, as you can see there's a little music player in my sidebar (at least as of today...who knows what's there for you readers in the far, far away future).

Anyway, this is a (new to me) service called esnips, and I can share my music and just about anything else I'd like to share, all in one community space. Right now, I just uploaded a simple song of me practicing the three guitar chords I know. Unfortunately, it's not working right now, meaning you're missing out on what is likely the best three chord song EVER! (echo: ever, ever, ever...)

grrrr...Widget malfunctions.

Hopefully esnips.com's technical support will make the complaint part of this post outdated, soon.

Either way, look! I have a cool widget! =)

How did it feel to pour your limitlessness
into the confining boundaries
and imprisonment
of flesh?

To view the world with a
narrow vision
and craned neck?
To walk the earth
with dusty feet
instead of surrounding it?

how did it feel?

I can only imagine your body swelling with the attempt to contain you.

Your eyes welling with the need to speak words impossible for our mouths to form.

I imagine your heart expanding with a love so complete, it's foreign.

Did you seep
through every exhale?

Was every breath
a prayer?
a praise?
a release?
a relief?

Yet you endured
the muck and mire;
and bathed us, instead.

Is this how You say "love?"
Then show me how to say "Thank You."

The great thing about getting to know and actually falling in love with Christ is that you begin to know Him for who He really is...and you learn that He has a healthy sense of humor, too. (And, no, not always at our expense...yeah, I know what you were thinking.)

Anywho, this lil' blog, these lil' compositions (music, fashion, writing), this lil' life is my way of shouting and screaming my "THANK YOU!" to the one that has set me free to be and do more than I dreamed for myself.

Thank you, Lord. You rock.

That said, Library of Intelligent Design, Inc. is a collection of all the talents and passions that God has put in my heart and brings to reality through my hands. Yep, the very ones typing out this lil' intro.

Check out my quoelbert.etsy.com store on Etsy.com, where you'll find all kinds of handmade stuff. Right now, "all kinds" refers to three necklaces, but believe me, it will bubble over with creations soon enough. (also see latest items in my sidebar).

Check out songs on my myspace music account...er...once I get that set up it'll somehow be in the sidebar, too. But, what's cool about this facet of my work is that I started writing songs only because I truly felt compelled that it was another form of ministry given to me. I play no instrument, yet (I'm working on learning my first two chords on my new acoustic guitar), I have no musical background. And, since my start in January, I have 3 1/2 striking songs under my belt. When they're up, please check them out...if only out of morbid curiousity.heh.

On this blog I'll include some creative writing, some interviews with innovative Christian artists and entries journaling the progress of this company--my ministry--the Library.

More creations to come. His imagination is endless; the possibilities are limitless.
